As a child, Sarah grew up in the warmth of a loving family. She found her heart's joy in nature, spending countless hours surrounded by the beauty of the world around her. Sarah used to go off for hours exploring her local fields and woods. One day, she stumbled across a field with a pony in it. Sarah would visit him as often as she could, talking to him over the fence, bringing him carrots. One afternoon, a lady emerged from her house and crossed the field toward her. Sarah's heart raced, fearing she’d be scolded for bothering the pony. To her delight, however, the lady offered her a golden opportunity: the chance to look after 'Major' and ride him! From that moment on, Major became her first love. Their bond grew deeper, rooted in trust and understanding. One of Sarah's most cherished memories was those serene moments when she lay beside Major in the sun-drenched field, completely at peace. Sarah had always possessed a unique connection to nature, sensing the energy of animals and the vibrant life around her. From a young age, she was aware of the unseen forces that bind all living beings. She could see and feel the energies of those around her and intuitively understood a universal essence she describes as OM. This connection with nature and empathy for animals shaped her childhood, nurturing a sense of harmony that would stay with her for a lifetime.

Sarah is the first and only nurse in her family, and she takes immense pride in her journey. Her inspiration to join the nursing profession was ignited by a heartfelt experience when she witnessed the outstanding care provided to her Great Aunty Alice in their local community hospital. This moment sparked a realisation within her, a desire to become part of a profession that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. With that newfound inspiration, Sarah made the bold decision to shift her focus from a business course in advertising and marketing to nursing. Despite her uncertainties about being "cut out" for nursing, she was determined to discover her potential. Sarah began her career as a carer, diligently learning the ropes and testing her skills within the healthcare field. Through hard work and dedication, she successfully qualified as a nurse in 1994. Since then, Sarah has fully immersed herself in various sectors of nursing, working both in the NHS, across hospitals and within the community, and delving into commercial healthcare as well as independent health and social care in the charity sector. Her passion for making a difference has propelled her to serve as Director of Care for several organisations. Today, she takes great pride in being a co-founder of three distinct organisations, which include two health and social care entities and a community-based charity. Each initiative reflects her unwavering commitment to improving lives and supporting local communities.

Sarah is a loving mother of six beautiful children, and her heart swells with pride for her family. Growing up, she always dreamed of having a large family of her own, inspired by the close bonds she observed among her father and his siblings. Watching heartwarming TV programs that showcased the warmth and closeness of big families only deepened her desire to cultivate those kinds of relationships. Her journey into motherhood began in 1996 with the arrival of her wonderful son, Dan, and from there, she embraced the greatest achievement of her life: raising her six children, Dan, Hannah, Katie, Nick, Edie-May, and Reggie. To Sarah, they are her entire world.
Recently, Sarah remarried her lovely husband, Glenn, which expanded her family even further. She happily welcomed three stepdaughters—Hayley, Toni, and Lisa, and eight step-grandchildren: Chloe, Molly, Daniel, Ryan, Harry, Olivia, Jessica, and Frankie. She feels truly blessed to have such a vibrant, loving family and is continually inspired by her children's personal achievements.
Every day, Sarah takes joy in watching them navigate challenges, pursue their goals, and flourish into the remarkable individuals they are destined to be. For Sarah, family is everything, and she cherishes every moment spent together.
